Gear, Campgrounds & Experiences We Actually Love
We only recommend what we’ve used ourselves. No fluff, no paid placements, just honest picks from a family that lives this life.

QQH Laptop Screen Extender, 15.6” Triple Portable Monitor
These monitors have been solid for our setup. The picture quality is great, they’re lightweight, and they travel well in the camper. There are a few design quirks, like the stand feeling a little flimsy, but overall they’ve held up and worked exactly how we need them to on the road.

Calyx Institute Sprout Membership
I’ve really come to love the Calyx Institute Sprout membership. The unlimited hotspot data has been a lifesaver for full-time RV life, especially when we’re out in the middle of nowhere and still need solid internet for work and school. It’s simple, dependable, and one of the best deals out there for staying connected on the road.

GL.iNet GL-X3000
The GL.iNet GL-X3000 (Spitz AX) has been the most reliable router we’ve used in our camper. It handles 5G with dual-SIM failover, WiFi 6 speeds, and external antennas that actually help when we’re camping somewhere remote. We run all our devices off it for work, school, and streaming, and it just stays stable even when one carrier drops. For full-time RV life, it’s been the best “internet anywhere” setup we’ve found.

The Minimalist Home: A Room-by-Room Guide to a Decluttered, Refocused Life by Joshua Becker
One of today’s most influential minimalist advocates takes us on a decluttering tour of our own houses and apartments, showing us how to decide what to get rid of and what to keep. He both offers practical guidelines for simplifying our lifestyle at home and addresses underlying issues that contribute to over-accumulation in the first place. The purpose is not just to create a more inviting living space. It’s also to turn our life’s HQ—our home—into a launching pad for a more fulfilling and productive life in the world.

The More of Less by Joshua Becker

• Recognize the life-giving benefits of owning less
• Realize how all the stuff you own is keeping you from pursuing your dreams
• Craft a personal, practical approach to decluttering your home and life

• Learn why the best part of minimalism isn’t a clean house, it’s a full life
The beauty of minimalism isn’t in what it takes away. It’s in what it gives.

Mothering by the Book by Jennifer Pepito
Subtitled: The Power of Reading Aloud to Overcome Fear and Recapture Joy
“Wit and wisdom for every mother, everywhere.”–ERIN LOECHNER, author of Chasing Slow
Becoming a better, happier mom starts with the stories you tell your kids. As a mom, you want to nurture a strong family, but fear steals your joy. Sometimes you wonder if you’re failing your children or whether you’re cut out for this.
Beloved writer and mom of seven Jennifer Pepito understands. She was intent on loving her children well, but fear and worry pushed her around. Ultimately, she found her joy in a most surprising place: the pages of classic literature she was reading aloud to her children every day. These stories helped her reclaim the wonder of childhood for herself and her children.
In Mothering by the Book, Jennifer takes you on a fascinating, whimsical journey that will bring freedom and fun to your parenting–one great book at a time.

The Wild and Free Family by Ainsley Arment
As parents, we dream of creating a magical childhood for our kids, yet it can be so easy to slip into autopilot. Ainsley Arment—a mother of five, founder of the thriving community Wild + Free, and bestselling author—is no stranger to the barrage of decisions, opportunities, and daily tasks that each day brings. But what Ainsley has discovered is that the magic of life isn’t found in the hustle and bustle of constant activity but in the intentional ordinary decisions of our days. And when we assume that a family has to look or act a certain way, we miss the opportunity to build a meaningful and fulfilling life together.

The Call of the Wild and Free by Ainsley Arment
Allow your children to experience the adventure, freedom, and wonder of childhood with this practical guide that provides all the information, inspiration, and advice you need for creating a modern, quality homeschool education.

Down the Mountain by Dr. Jason Kolb
After a catastrophic ski accident left him permanently paralyzed from the waist down, Jason not only had to re-learn basic tasks like dressing and bathing, but also had to wrestle with the harder questions: why do bad things happen? If God is good and powerful, why does he allow suffering? And how does one cope with suffering, which in one way or another visits us all? With anecdotes, humor and stories from the Bible, Jason tells the story of his accident and recovery while tackling these questions and more. Ultimately Jason believes that on the other side of suffering there is joy, on the other side of fear there is freedom, and that only God offers sufficient grace to understand and cope with our pain.

Tinker Toys 200 piece set
The Tinker Toys 200 piece building set is fantastic for open-ended play for kids of all ages. We have combined this set with Kid K’Nex Animals and Kid K’Nex Dino Dudes and it is a go-to for all of our kids and their friends. There aren’t many toys that I consider a “must have” but these would for sure be on the list.

Stuffed Animal Storage (Stuffy Puffy)
Our kids have so many stuffed animals! They do actually play with them quite a bit so we wanted to be able to bring a good amount with us on the road. But in order to not be swimming in them, we needed a creative solution. We were able to fill this bean bag chair with stuffed animals as an easy and multi-purpose solution. The kids can easily get to whatever stuffy they want and it serves as an extra cuddley seat for movie night or a cozy place to read. We bought the large version in blue.
